Bag, baby-carrier; sewn of leather; oval-shaped leather baby-carrier, fringe around edge; strip pf black and red cotton cloth decorated with white and orange glass beads sewn around top; back decorated with glass beadwork, tassels with quillwork, purple and red wool tassels.

- Tag attached reads:
"Slave Indian female child's moss bag. The child is wrapped in dry moss and put in the bag & is carried on the back of the mother.
This specimen came from the collection of Lord Somers & was acquired by me on the sale of the contents of Reigate Priory. The label on the other side was attached to the bag when purchased. 13 June 1921 (A.W.F. Fuller)"
