- Curator's comments
- Information provided by Murui Muina elders and researcher Juan Alvaro Echeverri. Necklace made of parrot feathers and industrially produced threads and ribbons, probably acquired in rubber processing houses. Murui Muina people used to take care of the birds and feed them certain foods to improve the tones of the parrot’s plumage. The decoration and form of elaboration of this piece is somehow different from other necklaces in this collection. This object could have been produced as a gift, maybe for Robuchon himself.
