'1-2 - Male and female figure representing a Cacique and his wife. This grave contained 12 lbs weight of gold ornaments'

These figures were probably made to be used during rituals. Each has a piece inside that rattles, making a different, distinctive, sound. They might have been suspended by the small openings in the shoulders and underarms, and were probably carried in ceremonies and rituals.
