Double-chambered whistling bottle; chambers of oval profile; flat bridge and base. Both chambers feature four panels divided up by broad and narrow raised vertical bands. Outward-facing panels on each chamber have serrated diagonal lines; panels facing bridges are stippled. Head of raptorial bird surmounts one chamber. Chambers made from single two-part vertical mould - seams under narrow raised bands down outer edges. Bird head and spout added - smoothing and small grooves around bases. Whistling mechanism incorporated in slight bulge in bird's neck. Holes pierced in top of head and behind eyes. Head may also be mould made -seam along crest. Smooth parts well burnished including underside of bridge; base and inside spout wiped. Black with small pale grey patches; finish wearing off in places.
