- Description

Lip-plug, flat, of oval shape, the surfaces with concave depressions, and the rim with slight indentation to accomadate the lip, slightly thicker at either end. The top surface is inlaid with an oval piece of California haliotis/abalone shell, the shell inlay pierced at the top twice for suspension, as though it might have originally come from a California necklace. To one side is attached a printed paper label '22'.
