Ladle of big horn sheep horn, the handle curved and finished in a carved finial in the form of a raven's head, the underside incised with fine formline designs, the face on the underside of the bowl perhaps also representing the tail of the raven, with the wings swept back at the edges - so also forming the ears of the face.
