Mask, of wood, of roughly circular outline, carved in an apparently lion-like form, with a large rounded nose, big whiskerish-moustache, and a great mane of hair, very deep in profile, with holes for the mouth-piece, now missing; deeply carved eye sockets on cones, highly exagerrated eye brows, large and with a vertical line parallel to the nose; two dots above the nose. Representing Nuhlmahl; apparently painted black.
