- Description

Eight teardrop-shaped ornaments (khulalat) made of hammered and cut sheet gold. Each ornament is composed of conical section with edges soldered together with additional domed section soldered on to the conical tube. Surface of ornaments decorated with granulation and twisted wire. Each ornament is pierced at top for suspension on chain or wire. Eight ornaments currently strung onto thin twisted gold wire.
