Painting in water based pigment on printed Italian military paper depicting Christ being nailed to the cross by three men. A follower of Christ looks on with hands clasped in distress.
Verso; A man is hanging in a tree while another man holds others back with a stick.
Framed with a paper mount.

Previously part of a book of images used as models for mural paintings. These were made by an Ethiopian priest who was producing paintings and murals in the 1940s.
