Cloth, woman's wrapper, made of natural-coloured, hand-spun cotton composed of nine narrow strips. The strips are have been sewn together along the selvedges. The ends of wrapper have been left as an unhemmed fringe.

- Acquired by the donor in Abuja in the 1960s. See comment on Af2000,09.7, though this cloth has not been braided in the traditional Gwari fashion.

- Af2000,09.1 to 11 were given by Michael O'Brien. The donation book records it as "a small collection of (mainly) hand-woven textiles from the Gwari and Hausa peoples of northern Nigeria, collected by the donor in Nigeria during the 1960s and 1980s; plus one tie-dyed cloth from Kinshasa, DRC."
