Hat ("malfa"); plaited from straw; rounded crown, wide brim; strip of red leather sewn around edge of brim; circle of red leather, painted with black lines, sewn at top of crown, decorated with beige, green and red leather concentric circles outlined in black; tassel of red leather outlined with black paint and decorated with green and beige leather sewn under circle and attached with knot at base of crown; strip of brown leather sewn around inside edge of crown with tube of padded blue cotton attached; braided red and black leather strip attached for tying to head.
