Woman's wrap-around cloth (maharma qutun) made of silk and cotton. Rectangular cloth has natural-coloured cotton warp and weft with supplementary weft-faced stripes in dark green and dark pink silk at either end. Immediately before the top and bottom edges are bands with warp threads only.

- This fieldwork collection was purchased, together with Af1998,02-03, using BP (British Petroleum) sponsorship in February-March 1998. This mourning cloth was purchased new from a weaving workshop in Mahdia, owned by Karim al-Arousse, on 5.3.1998 for 65 TD (Tunisian Dinar).
