Woman's head-veil ('ajar) with black-dyed wool warp and black- and red-dyed wool weft in alternating horizontal stripes. Veil narrows slightly from top to bottom. Multi-coloured wool embroidery along top edge of veil, with a small pompom at each corner, three along top edge and three below in centre of veil. Hand, sun, scorpion and other animal designs embroidered around central pompoms. Line of sequins sewn in centre of cloth along line of embroidery. Deep openwork fringe of knotted and interlaced black wool cords ending in tassels.
