Beadwork hat ornament; woven onto thread. Diamond-shaped, made from horizontal bands of repeated rows of beads strung vertically, with single raised horizontal rows between. Centre has stylised hour-glass shaped motif made of interlocked triangles in green, black, dark blue, light blue and yellow (from outside to centre). Gold-coloured metal safety pin at top reverse; central red wool row at rear.

- Because of duplicate photos, Jolles catalogue is out of sequence: this object corresponds with the Jolles' collection number 221. Jolles notes is worn vertically at side like ijembula, also horizontally at back of hat. Worn by married women.
