Beadwork hat decoration; woven onto thread. Consists of predominately white rectangular panel, made up of horizontal bands of repeated rows of beads, strung vertically. Double row of beads at long edges and in centre, with safety pins at either ends of rear centre. Central 'hour-glass' motif, in green, black, dark blue, light blue and yellow (from outer edges to centre).

- Because of duplicate photos, Jolles catalogue out of sequence: this object corresponds with the Jolles' collection number 198. Jolles notes that is attached horizontally to back of hat. Worn by married women, when going to umemulo or parties (not at home).
