- Description

Round-bottomed, hand-built bowl made of pottery, with concave neck, everted lip. Buff-coloured bowl with 'splash and trickle' decoration applied in brown vegetal-based liquid on both inner and outer surfaces. Extensive blackening on surface of vessel due to oxygen-reduction while firing. Three double rows of wedge-shaped impressions around shoulder. Interior of bowl covered with powdered bark fibre ? residue.
