Adire cloth: indigo: two widths of machine spun machine plain woven European cotton hand sewn together using raffia. A repeating pattern of layered squares with a two crossing diagonal lines (from corner to corner) have been sewn into the cloth which was then dyed indigo. The pattern has been unpicked. There are also rows of small circles tied into the cloth at either end. The textile is unhemmed.
