Adire: two panels of imported European white calico cotton, dyed indigo in Nigeria using stitch fold resist to form four bands in dark indigo running along the cloth, separated by 5 undecorated strips in light indigo. The pattern name was recorded by W.B.Fagg as 'Gbetan'.
