Adire. Composed of a single with of machine plain woven cotton. Indigo-dyed cotton cloth with a design composed of spiral and herring-bone patterns within a grid. The cloth has been dyed using indigo the areas of the cloth which were protected during the dyeing process have become discoloured probably because of light exposure (?) as a result areas which would originally have been white are now yellow.
