A head-piece for a riding bull, of a type worn with two horn-pieces [1981 Af18.65-66] as part of a matching three-piece set, 'nunir'. It is in the form of a round leather base, topped with brown ostrich plumes, with two flaps on either side and thongs for tying under the animal's chin. Several broad leather pendents are attached to the base of the head piece, including one much longer than the others to which a small, cast brass bell is tied. Both base and pendants are decorated with lines of cowrie shells.
