- Af1970,09.1 to 9 were purchased from James H Barr of Stevenage. The group belongs together, being a bow and associated accoutrements. The register records that they were all 'Collected by the vendor on 6 April 1966 in a small village of Ekata , 500km east of Libreville, Gabon, and 7km from the Congo (Brazzaville)-Gabon border'. The collection was accompanied by seven colour transparencies of the objects in use.
