Register 1964:
‘Brown and white cotton cloth, hand-spun and woven, warp threads in pairs, every 5th pair is of brown threads, about four brown stripes per inch. 22 x 44 inches. A 2 ½ inch fringe at one end, 1 ½ inch fringe at the other.’
It is a single strip of woman's weave.
