- Acquisition notes
- Af1962,17.1 to 80 were purchased from the historic collection of the Church Missionary Society. A few have old CMS notes; but the attributions are mostly curatorial. Almost all the objects come from Nigeria and are connected with Igbo, Isoko or Yoruba cults. They were probably collected in the early years of CMS activity in Nigeria, between 1900 and the First World War.
