From acquisition "grass". Register 1960 Palm leaf basket (a) with handle and lid (b). Coiled. Description as for 121 [Basket made of the split leaves of Phoenix reclinata Jacq. South Africa. 13-1911. Mr and Miss Hopkins.] but the following added: "From the collection of the late Mr AJ Hipkins." Another label states: "Basket made of grasses. South Africa. 1902."
