- Af1958,19.1 to 80 were given by Mrs Alice H Pyke. They are recorded as having been collected by her late husband Cyril Cameron Pyke (see his biography). Almost all the objects come from the Cross River and Delta region of Nigeria, where he was an official from 1905-14. In 1914-15 he was engaged in the West African Frontier Force in the Cameroons; he retired in 1915.
