Nos.1-8: "Found at a burial site, most probably of the Nganja, in Yao country, on the shore of NKHUDZI bay, Lake Nyasa (about 14.10'S, 34.60' E). The site has been partly eroded by the lake; apparently an extensive burial ground, with 3 main layers; pottery of a kind not now found."
