- Af1957,01.1 to 51 were given by Miss Maitland Moir of Edinburgh. They had been "Collected by the donor's father who did early pioneering in 1877 in Nyasaland and Upper Zambesi". The objects mostly come from Malawi (Nyasaland) and Mozambique and have been assigned the date of circa 1877.
