- Knives of this type are now usually attributed to the Gbaya in the south-west of the Central African Republic, crossing the borders into the Cameroons and the Republic of Congo. See Marc Felix, 'Kipinga', pp.184-5, where this is attributed to the Pomo or Bumali, other Gbaya sub-tribes.
