Part of harp. Two wood sticks forming a wide V-shape. One stick, forming the neck of the harp, has seven holes with remains of fibre strings. Second stick, the upright, also has remains of fibre strings wound round upper section. At intersection of two is small piece of gourd resonator lashed to wood with fibre strips.

- Similar harps of this form are recorded from Liberia; known as 'loma' harps.
Information derived from a) original Wellcome collection labels and b) worksheets, compiled by Ethnography Dept. staff, which are stored with Africa collections. Wellcome label records harp acquired at British Empire Exhibition, Wembley, London in 1924. Label reads 'Harp with gourd resonator'.
