- Af1953,25.1 to 60 were given to the BM by Miss G Smyly. They all come from her father, Sir P.Crampton Smyly, who was the Chief Justice of Sierra Leone (1901-1911) and the Gold Coast (1911-1929). The register gives a date of c.1909 for the whole collection.
