Textile: composed of two lengths of plain woven cotton and raffia hand sewn together selvedge to selvedge. Composed of natural cotton and dyed blue cotton wefts and raffia and dyed blue cotton warps. This combination of warps and wefts is used to create a raffia coloured background covered by a fine blue grid, with some warp stripes thickened. The textile is finished by a fringe of unworked warps.
