- Af1950,08.1 to 37 were purchased from Albert William Wyatt, a colonial official (District Officer) in Tanganyika, 1926-48. They came from the 'HIMA, GOGO, ZINZA, and other tribes of Tanganyika' and had been collected between 1930 and 1948. The Register records Wyatt's notes on the place and date of purchase of most of the objects.
