(1) Possibly war drum, but may be dancing drum, (2) Mada Hills, (4) MADA tribe, (5) May 1912, found during punitive expedition against MADA.

- Af1950,02.1 to 35 were given by Brigadier-General A P Garnier. The register records that all were acquired "from various pagan tribes in Nassarawa province in Northern Nigeria (Kagoro, Mada, Nungu, Ayub, & Gwari Yemma) collected in 1911-12", and records notes on each item and its history.
