- Af1948,23.1 to 39 is a collection of objects collected in Tanganyika by Miss Helen M Rolleston for the BM, and given by her. Nos.1 to 9 are gourds and basketwork. Nos.10 to 21 are a series of "Kisi pottery from Sikonde, Lake Nyasa, south-west Tanganyika", and is complemented by Af1948,23.25 to 27 which are the "raw materials for making pottery, Kisi tribe, Sikonde, Lake Nyasa". Nos.31 to 39 is a collection of tools used by a metalsmith of the Wabena of the Ulanga district in Tanganyika. She has described the formation of this collection in 'Pot makers of the Livingstone Mountains' (Eth.Doc.319).
