Nos.287- 293 is a series showing the production of beads ground from bottle glass at IFE, YORUBALAND, S. NIGERIA.
Hole hammered through with nail as at Ilorin. Small pale blue beads - SEGI; large green beads - AKUN. AGILESHORO (♂), the name of the make of the pale blue beads (nos.291-3).

- Af1946,18.1 to 397 is a collection of contemporary objects purchased in Nigerian markets by H J Braunholtz, the Keeper of the Department of Ethnography in the BM, on a study visit in 1946. The Register contains his notes on the local name, function and place of acquisition of each item. Af1946,18.1 to 244 were registered in 1946 or later. Af1946,245 to 380 were added in 1957, still using the 1946 register sequence. Nos.383 to 397 were added at a yet later date.
