Wooden platter, with carved handle; on the upper surface are a low cylindrical projection and an elliptical vessel (lacking the lid) carved from the solid; geometrical designs.

- Af1939,14.1 to 65 are recorded as having been collected in Nigeria by Col. W R M Iles between 1896 and 1902, the brother of Mrs Chauncy, the donor. Some were collected earlier, a few came from the Aro expedition (1901-2). Nos.1 to 15 are recorded as Yoruba; nos.16 to 18 are recorded from Arochuku; nos.19 to 65 are from northern Nigeria or from unrecorded locations, with the exception of nos.30 to 32 which are Ibibio.
