- See Ethdoc 309 - Notes on the Corkill Collection. This is presumably:
A.N.3 Jebel Fama, Nuba Mts. Kadugli area. Wrestler's girdle, also worn at ceremonial dances and parades by males only. Made of a special root bound with reptile skin. Winged projection made with gum arabic overlaid with monitor skin. Probably represents the "process" of a vertebra, suggestive of strength. (This is Corkill's own view).
