Woman’s wrapper (aso oke) composed of 10 hand-woven narrow strips of uniform width, hand-sewn together along the selvages. The strips are all warp-faced and show four different patterns. These are arranged in the following order (reading from the bottom upwards) 1, 2, 3, 1, 4, 2, 1, 3, 2, 4. The first three patterns are all of white and indigo-dyed cotton of three different shades, while the fourth includes some magenta (alaari) silk thread as well. The thread is all handspun and the indigo is locally dyed. The ends are not hemmed.

- This is a complicated 'aso oke' Nigerian cloth with stips of four different patterns. The rpesence of alaari silk in one of the strips elevates it into a higher level of cost and distinction.
