- The register only records Af1924,1220.1 and 2 as coming from Nigeria. A comment added by W B Fagg to the register suggest that they are Northern Yoruba possibly from Oye-Ekiti.

- Af1924,1220.1 and 2 were purchased from Major C T Lawrence, of the Nigeria Pavilion at the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley, where they had presumably been shown.
