- Acquisition notes
- Af1908,0723.1 to 95 were given by A C Hollis (later Sir Claud Hollis), then secretary to the East African Protectorate. The objects were collected by him in Kenya, and have descriptions recorded in the register which were supplied by Hollis himself. Most come from the Nandi people, on which he published a monograph in 1909. The register gives relevant references to that book.
