- Af1894,0804.1 to 128 were given by (Sir) Harry Johnston, who first went to Nyasaland (the modern Malawi) in 1889 and remained there until 1894. His collection must therefore have been made between 1889 and 1893.
Nos.42 to 58 are arrows. Many of the objects are described as 'Angoni' [Ngoni] or as from 'Angoniland'.
