Cape made of patches of goatskin with hair attached, in the form of a broad collar with long pendants, two of which end in small goat hooves, the whole is lined with cotton printed with bands of floral motifs in blue, yellow and red. The cape has a red leather collar decorated with couched cotton cord, ending in two pendants with small goats hooves. The collar is closed with a 'clasp'; made of alternate red and green, tooled leather cylinders each containing a reed tube, attached with four red leather pendants cut into cruciform motifs.

- Curator's comments
- Capes such as this were worn by men as symbols of status and rank. The cotton used to line the cape was probably imported possibly from India.
