- Af,+.2070 to 2079, together with Af,+.881 to 963.a, were given to the BM by A W Franks on 1 October 1878. This is a single collection that he had acquired from Mrs Elizabeth Dumaresq, which had been formed by her late husband John Dumaresq, while he was the Administrator of Lagos between 1874 and 1878.
