- The artwork shows a watercolour painting of a bird - Pesquet's Parrot, or vulturine parrot (Psitrigas fulgidus). There are also three individual feathers painted to the right of the bird. This was painted at the Natural History Museum stores at Tring. The drawing was made whilst Jewell was studying at the Royal College of Art (1998-2004) researching feathers and bird iconography in Pacific artefacts. This bird was painted because the feathers are used in the making of many feather artefacts in Papua New Guinea, including the head ornament from Redscar Point, also drawn by Jewell, see 2020,2003.11 and 2020,2003.12
