Canoe model made of wood and coconut fibre binding. Now five separate components. The hull (a) has been carved out of one piece of wood is plain. Two pieces (b-c) decorated with incised chevrons, sit on the top of the hull at either end and are secured with coconut fibre lashing. Two narrow panels (e-d) also incised with chevron design sit between b-c at either side.
