Bogolanfini, mudcloth; woman's wrapper; woven in seven strips hand sewn together. Hand spun cotton warp and weft, dyed yellow. Discharge-dyed with river mud to create abstract patterns throughout. Deep borders on short sides, narrow borders on long sides. Central design area divided by narrow band. Loose warp thread fringes at both ends.

- On bogolanfini, see the comment on 2018,2036.349. The three cloths 2018,2036.352 to 354 belong together, and were said by Harvey Derrien's informants to have come from Beledougou, near Babemba (west of Bamako). They have been used, and the colours have been lightened by repeated washing.
