Second man standing and wearing similar clothing. Two younger boys also standing, older one wearing white tunic and trousers, younger one wearing red and white t-shirt and grey trousers. Weaving room in village of Wad Rahoom, outside Rufa'a, Sudan.

Michael Spring's diary entry notes the names of two weavers: Besheer Ahmed Babikr and Mohamed Mohamed Ahmed Babikr who worked in the weaving room in Wad Rahoom.

Cotton industry developed by British in Gezira State during Anglo-Egyptian Sudan period. Known as the Gezira Scheme. Cotton was grown in this region on a large scale from 1914.
