- Curator's comments
- The pendant and pudding-knife blade have been sewn on to a piece of blue, rectangular card. This card would have been used in displays to advertise and raise funds for the Melanesian Mission. The pendant ornament is in the style of Isabel or western Solomons. The inscription reads: MELANESIA Turtle shell pudding knife and ornament.
