Bag made of leather with attached outer cover. Inner rectangular bag has double flap closure and sheath-shaped compartment sewn onto bag's exterior surface. Outer flap decorated with tooling and linear patterns painted in black ink. Bottom edge of bag has numerous short and a few longer tassels. Two twisted leather strings attached to top of bag pass through outer cover to secure it. Outer cover made from black-dyed leather, tooled on front surface. Decorated with pale green-dyed leather with cut outs revealing red cotton ? cloth below. Further applied and sewn inserts in white and yellow-dyed leather. Tassels and edge binding in red-, yellow- and green-dyed ? synthetic wool. Back of cover has strip of red-dyed leather along full length of cover sewn at top and bottom.
