Woman's belt made of eight lengths of vegetable fibre, fixed into a loop at each end. Four of the lengths are plaited and four are made from two-ply twisted fibre. One further strand of twisted fibre extend from the loops for fastening.

- Previously part of the London School of Economics (LSE) ethnography collection, brought in to the British Museum on deposit in 2001. Formally donated in October 2013 by the LSE.
This material (2013,2038) was deposited with other objects from the Trobriand Islands collected by Bronislaw Malinowski (now registered as 2012,2037.1-74).
